There is no difference between a deaf sport and a sport you are familiar with.

All athletes, deaf or not, are equal in sports.

We provide equal opportunity to the deaf to participate in sports competitions
and popular events (for the deaf and hard of hearing).

We initiate and manage championships, leagues, national teams for the deaf,
at the youth and alumni level - men and women - in Israel and abroad.

IDSO regularly participates in European and world championships in all sports
and of course regularly participates in the Deaflympics.

IDSO employs deaf and hard of hearing people with the aim of shattering the
bubble of society's indifference towards them and promoting deaf and hard of
hearing people to succeed in their personal lives, by providing tools and
confidence to face the real world.

Athletes are a wonderful group of men and women who struggle daily with
their disabilities and the stigmas of society, some of the players are students,
soldiers, or workers, and they invest their best time to represent Israel and
show that they too can do and all for free.
